KITCHEN DESIGN SOLUTIONS
A relaxed, comfortable and stylish kitchen can be all yours.
STEP ONE
Tell us about your project
Please complete our short questionnaire so we can make sure we have the capacity to help you. We will then set up a free 30 minute discovery call, so you can tell us about your project.
We’ll discuss the brief at an on-site meeting and use this information to write your design proposal.
* Please note that there is a fee of £400 for the work in step one. This allows us to dedicate the time to get to know you and provide an accurate fee proposal.
STEP TWO
We listen
We'll take the time to really understand how you want your kitchen to look, function and make you feel.
We'll work with you to establish your style preferences, budget and project timescale.
STEP THREE
Getting creative
We take all your information and create your kitchen design concept. This will be presented to you using visuals, drawings and mood boards. We'll then introduce you to the best kitchen company to match your needs and bring it all to life.
With an established brief confirmed, the first meeting with the kitchen company will be focused and productive.
It's then a very collaborative process, where we combine all of our kitchen and interior design skills to save you time and energy and get the best kitchen for you and your home.
STEP FOUR
Making sure it's right
We'll work with the kitchen company on an initial set of plans. These will then be discussed with you at a showroom visit, where we explore further ideas, if necessary, and make any tweaks and improvements.
There can be a bit of toing and froing at this stage to get the plans exactly right. We'll help you at every step and will save you time by liaising with the kitchen company on your behalf.
STEP FIVE
Pulling it all together
We'll continue to work closely with you to create your lighting plans, plus select the best flooring, colour scheme and hardware finishes to elevate your kitchen.
We'll also be busy liaising with you and the kitchen company about worktops, the splashback and appliances. We'll be sourcing furniture and accessories, plus organising the procurement and delivery.
STEP SIX
The big reveal
A suitable date will be scheduled and we will provide you with a full schedule of works, as supplied by the kitchen company.
We will be on hand for any queries during the entire process to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Once it's in, all that remains is for us to pop by and admire your beautiful, new kitchen!

Frequently Asked Questions - Kitchen Design Solutions

This depends on the scope of work and your building timeline. We will liaise with you and/or your builder, so we are fully aware of what's happening and when. We will then coordinate our schedule of works to fit in with the kitchen company and your timescale. Do bear in mind that kitchen companies can be booked up from 6 months to a year in advance, so it always pays to contact us right at the beginning of your project, to avoid compromise.
-
We have a trusted network of established and reputable kitchen companies that we can introduce you to. We match the kitchen company to the brief, your budget and your requirements. Alternatively we are happy to work with a company of your choice. We can also source and supply other materials, finishes and furniture to complete your design.

This is a full and comprehensive kitchen design service. Our prices start at £5,000 but the exact price will depend on the size of the room, what you are looking to achieve and how much work is involved. Our fees are a fixed price for the design work. We charge a 15% handling fee (based on the RRP) to cover our procurement time and arranging delivery/installation. Full details will be provided in your fee proposal document.

We design kitchens, we don't sell them. This means that your design is based purely on the right layout for your family and not by how many cabinets we can squeeze in. We take the time to really understand what makes you tick; how you work as a family, your lifestyle, how you will use your space and how you want it to make you feel. By combining the skills of our specialist kitchen designer with our interior designer, we have the vision and expertise to consider every detail, from the key components to the soft furnishings, furniture and accessories. We also consider how your new kitchen sits in your home and the relationship it has with the other rooms. In addition to all of this, we save you time, energy and create a stress-free environment where we do the heavy lifting, leaving you to enjoy the process with a beautiful kitchen at the end of it.

We love working closely with architects. Involving us at the beginning of a project is always an advantage as we have a different set of skills to bring to a project. It also gives us the opportunity to influence things like the placement of doors and windows as well as getting a detailed understanding of your requirements. We may not need to be present at every meeting, but the more engaged we are early on in the process, the better the results will be.
-
We work in a very collaborative way, so our clients are fully involved in the design process and direction. We offer one round of revisions at the end of each design phase, so if there is anything you would like to change, this can be done at these stages. If changes are made later on in the design process that have an impact on the scope of work, we charge an additional fee at our hourly rate. Any additional fees are always discussed with the client and approved in advance.
-
Take a look at our projects page to get a feel for our work. Behind the scenes, project updates and general interior design insights can be found on our instagram page.
-
Our larger scale projects tend to be based in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, but we are always happy to work with clients who live further afield. If you live outside of our usual area, please contact us so we can discuss how we could work together on your project.
-
In the first instance please fill in our client questionnaire link. This will help us to learn more about your project and your requirements. We will then be able to establish if we have the capacity to help. If we have availability, we will set up a free 20 minute discovery call where you can tell us more about your project and ask us any questions.
The next stage is to set up a meet and greet in person, so you can tell us more about your project and meet us. We will take photographs and measurements, plus look at any plans. We will use this information to create your scope of work document.
We will talk you through the fee proposal at a subsequent face-to-face meeting.
As you can imagine, this process takes time, so we charge a fee of £360 as a contribution towards our initial investment in your project.

We love nothing more than working collaboratively with our clients but if you prefer a more hands off approach, then that's fine too. Our main aim is to ensure that your vision is realised and that you are happy with the end results.
